Description


The implantable xLED Field Detector is designed to show the ideal location, rotation, and orientation to present one of our x-series chip implants to an RFID or NFC reader. It only has a tuning coil and white LED inside. There is no RFID or NFC chip inside so the xLED cannot be "read", it glows brightly when you place it near a reader operating at appropriate frequency.

While our x-series chip implants have undergone several quality checks during manufacture, and have been put through a battery of tests, they have not been certified by any government regulatory agency for implantation or use inside the human body. Use of this device is strictly at your own risk. These devices are MR conditional.

This kit contains an implant and all the sterile procedure materials required for a professional to perform the installation.

xLED Field Detector

The xLED Implantable Field Detector is manufactured with the same safe materials our x-series implantable transponders are made with, and is designed for implantation. It is the brightest implantable LED device available on the market.

This HF (13.56 MHz) version lights up when in range of an NFC/HF reader, letting you find the perfect read position for your HF implants before scanning.

What Can This Implant Do
  • Lights up when in range of any 13.56 MHz (HF/NFC) reader field
  • Helps you find optimal positioning for HF implants like the NExT, xSIID, xNT, and flex-series
  • No battery — powered entirely by the reader's RF field
  • Standard x-series form factor — easy installation via preloaded injection assembly
What This Implant Cannot Do
  • No data storage — this is purely a field detection device
  • Does not respond to LF (125 kHz) readers — use the LF version for that
  • No NFC communication — it only lights up, it cannot be read or written
  • Chip implants can't be used for GPS or tracking
xLED Kit Contents

The xLED comes in a preloaded injection assembly, ready for installation by a professional installation partner.

  • 1 sterile injector assembly, pre-loaded with xLED Field Detector
  • 2 single use isopropyl alcohol wipes
  • 1 sterile gauze pad for post-installation wound care
  • 1 sterile expandable-fabric adhesive bandage
  • 1 pair of non-sterile, non-latex procedure gloves

Biocompatible materials are USP Class VI, ISO 10993 tested and certified.
